A structured path of progression, so every camper — not just the fastest ones — grows in skill and confidence.
Basecamp Kickers is a youth soccer academy for ages 3–12, built on structured coaching, a clear path of progression, and a community that shows up for every kid.
Our coaching team brings years of experience from Colorado Nepal Youth Club (CNYC), a community program established in 2015, into a focused, age-appropriate soccer curriculum.
We keep things simple: portable goals, cones, and balls — no travel required. Just great coaching, close to home.
Balance, coordination, and first touches.
Ball control and small-sided games.
Tactics, competition, and leadership.
One straightforward program to start — more locations coming soon to Erie and Boulder.

Roe brings deep competitive coaching experience to Basecamp Kickers, including serving as Head Coach for the Boulder United FC Lions across the Colorado Premier League, Boulder Indoor Men's A league, and U.S. Open Cup qualifiers. He also co-founded BUFC Halo, a professional indoor team competing in Major League Indoor Soccer, where he has overseen team development and coaching staff. His background spans fast-paced indoor formats and semi-pro leagues across Colorado's Front Range.
Shahin has coached in Colorado for 6 years across age groups from U11 to U19 as well as adult teams, and holds both a US Soccer B License and a UEFA B License. He has coached at Skyline, Rapids North, United, Elevation FC, and CNYC, with teams ranging from Bronze to Premier level. His approach centers on the fundamentals of the game and each player's role on the field, tailoring focus to age and skill level — and finding the one area where every player, including the ones written off as "worst," can flourish and contribute.

Campers are grouped by age and skill level into three stages: Trailhead (3–5), Switchbacks (6–8), and Summit Push (9–12), so training always matches where your camper is developmentally.
If your child is 3 or older and excited to run around with a ball, they're ready. Our Trailhead stage is designed specifically for first-timers — no prior experience needed.
Comfortable athletic clothes, cleats or athletic shoes, a water bottle, and a lot of energy. We provide all training equipment.
Reach out to us directly if your camper needs to miss a week — we'll do our best to work with your family's schedule.
